Easter

I am pretty behind on posting pictures from the week before Easter and they are all out of order. It has been so busy around here. These pics are from Lucy's class Egg hunt (indoors due to weather) and the day we had the Bonds girls over to play(6 girls, including my 3). They had so much fun playing outside with Abby, Anna Claire and Katie who were visiting their grandparents for spring break in Tupelo.

And then on Good Friday, Maury and Lucy went to our next door neighbor Brooke's "bring your doll" tea party and egg hunt. I found some dresses at TJ's that came with matching doll dresses for their American Girl dolls.....what fun! That party was so cute. Later that afternoon, we went to Abbi and Pops' house for more egg hunting in their yard.

Baskets of Blessings and Kindergarten Easter Egg Hunt

Lucy helped me make and deliver our Baskets of Blessings to 2 homebound church members. That was fun and she even got a sweet thank you note.

Maury's kindergarten Easter Egg Hunt was at our house. They walked here from school and had a lot of fun. Lucy's was supposed to be here too but got rained out.

We love McDonald's

Lucy and Meri Alan have fun playing at church, McDonald's and ballet. They are both so funny. These are some pics Heather took at McDonald's a couple of weeks ago.

My dad also takes the girls (and/or me) to McDonald's a lot on his day off. They love going to eat and play with Papa. It started with just a few times and all of a sudden turned into almost every Wednesday the girls ask "Are we going to McDonald's with Papa????"

More Charleston pics

We took the girls to the Children's museum, downtown, Hyman's, The Post House, Coconut Joe's, Santi's, the market, mt. pleasant and the aquarium. We stayed in the isle of palms area on the beach. Maury loved playing in the water. The girls took a "lovely landscape" art class at the museum. They all loved all the horse and carriages, but we didn't have time for a ride. We squeezed in as much as we could! I ate shrimp 3 times- HA. I definitely could have stayed a week. And we didn't get to go on one of Pat's airplanes this trip- maybe next time.

Trip to Charleston

We are enjoying spring break and even got to go see our new niece, Laurel in Charleston. We drove 10 hours and watched barbie mariposa too many times, but finally got there for a 3 day visit. It was my first trip to C-town and I love that city! Gibson and Pat have the cutest house and the cutest little girl. Rebecca thought Laurel was hilarious - she just squealed and laughed at her. Maury and Lucy loved meeting her but were even more all over Pat. It was a great trip! I'll post more pics later of our sight-seeing!
