January bunko

We had bunko at my house on the 21st and it was fun as usual. Maury and Lucy helped me dust and clean and Maury made everyone an I love you note. I made my friend Trena's family recipe for lasagna and Barbara's spinach salad, and we had Corky's fudge pie. I always look forward to laughing and chatting with this group of friends. We missed Jo-Lynn this time. Janis won the prize and got to wear the crown for big bunko - she relished her victory like a true pageant queen. I know time is flying by when the month comes around for our next bunko!

You got some explaining to do!

The many expressions of Lucy!

Okay Rebecca has moved on from pulling out tissues and wipes. Now she looks for drawers, garbage cans or as in the picture, a laundry basket (shown modeling a nursing sleep bra). If Lucy doesn't close her pj drawer all the way, it's like Rebecca's eyes light up and she races to pull everything out she can!

Sleeping angels

Richard and I always peek in at the "big"girls sleeping and a few nights ago he snapped their pics. I loved them!

Christmas fun

I am falling down on my picture-taking. It's so hard with my hands full usually to get the camera. I didn't get one of the 3 girls with Santa. They had a cold/fever virus the week before Christmas and it just didn't get done. And I didn't get many Christmas morning. This year, I just wanted to enjoy watching the girls open presents, drinking my cup of coffee and eating my sausage pinwheel. Yes, food has some importance to me. We got to see both of my grandmothers this Christmas and that was so special. How awesome for the great grandchildren. It was fun, but now all of that is a blur to me! And it wasn't even a month ago. Time is flying by me. I can not believe that Rebecca's one, Lucy's 3 1/2 and Maury is a big six year old. They are so much fun right now - I wish they could stay this age. And I wish we could all take a long nap every day. HA.
