President's Day Parade

Maury's kindergarten class led the parade, the pledge, the star spangled banner and you're a grand ole flag. Mrs. Anne was Lady Liberty and the kids wore red, white and blue. They took their marching and flag-waving seriously. The parade was so cute!

Maury's Valentine's Party

Remember how much fun it was to make your valentine box and get all those valentines? Maury's kindergarten class had a fun party where they played games and exchanged valentines. Her teacher put lipstick on and kissed their foreheads. They even got to use icing pens to write on their cookies. Valentine's fell on the week of the 100th day of school, also. Maury made a poster of 100 pink things. She is having a great year in kindergarten. I can not believe that she'll go to "big school" next year!

Ear tubes

Well, I am glad that is over! Rebecca had to get ear tubes put in this morning due to a stubborn ear infection that would not go away. She was a champ - had no trouble at all coming off the anesthesia and hopefully, she will feel better and hear better....Although she has been sleeping and seemed fine since she got the ear infection in December??? She is so much fun and loved playing peekaboo in the waiting room and in her little yellow hospital gown before her surgery. We are so thankful that it went so smoothly.

Happy Valentine's Day from Yoga Baby!!!

Rebecca does a yoga pose everyday - it's called "downward dog", acc. to my yoga friend Jennifer.

I guess toddlers like to view the world in different ways, upside down, between their legs. She has been walking for over a week...still teeter-tottery but getting faster! I'll try to figure out how to post video some day.

Wendy's Shower 2/2/08

Tonya, Stephanie, Amy, Whitney, Heather, Jennifer, Martha Ann and I had a shower for our good friend Wendy last weekend and it was great fun. We missed Jennifer -she was in DisneyWorld(good excuse). I think little Nicholas is going to be the best dressed little boy in town!!!! Mia Katherine had a blast, too, and it was also Wendy's birthday. We can't wait to see Nicholas soon! My prediction is 8 lbs 2 oz (just like Lucy was!).... with a birthday of March 7! Hang in there, Wendy. We love you!
