Well the excitement never ends around here. Maury lost a top tooth (this was NOT supposed to happen in kindergarten) Sat. night after much drama over pulling it. It was hanging. We had just finished reading Toothless Wonder - a Junie B. Jones book about a first grader losing the same tooth, so that was pretty good timing. There was even a page in the back for you to put with your own tooth for the tooth fairy....In the book Junie B. looks in the mirror and says "I am pretty cute" and that is exactly how Maury felt. She was so excited to show everyone her smile at church, even the greeter at the door and then afterwards she was telling people at the restaurant. And she got a dollar for the tooth. I think the fairy gave her $5 for the first tooth and she's gotten $1 for the other 2 that she has lost. Now Lucy is wiggling her teeth and telling me they're loose, too.

Hat girl
Rebecca found a hat and kept it on for almost an hour. She was so proud of that hat. Her busted upper lip is from her wild dancing at Chuck E Cheese. She hit the table- hard.

Uh-oh
It was bound to happen. She said she wanted shorter hair. I was just waiting until after the dance recital and we were going to cut it short again. Well, Lucy took matters or scissors that is, into her own hands. It could have been worse, I know. I found the hair under Richard's desk - 2 clumps of dark blonde hair that I thought was doll hair at first.
So now, she sorta has long bangs and I have to put a clip in the front, in addition to the ponytail and bow. And Lucy is grounded from the scissors for 2 weeks.

Soccer
Rebecca ate cheetos most of the game in the stroller - it was so windy!
Just scored!!!
Oh my head hurts.

Bailey, Chloe, EC, Katherine, Kaylee, Maury
Our soccer season ended last week. It was Maury's first year to play and she loved it. The last 2 games she had a "trick" where she ran and kicked as she fell down....her coach (richard) kept telling her to stay on her feet but she fell several times and even scored doing it(to my dismay). Then towards the end of the game she got some cleats on her head after falling and hopefully she learned to not fall on purpose. It hurt. She's already asking about when soccer starts for next year. But the next sport is t-ball and Lucy gets to play too. She is soooo excited about it.

Blue-eyed beauties in blue
The Easter cross at church is always so beautiful - I love to get a picture of the girls in front of it. This year it was a little chilly and Lucy was too cold to cooperate for a good picture. Add to that a one year old who is in perpetual motion and this year's 3 sisters pic was next to impossible. I love the one of them with their teenage cousins Katie Beth, Kelsey and Conner. My mother made their dresses and they turned out great. I'm definitely going to put them on them again and get a good picture.

More Easter pics
By the time we hunted eggs at the Busbys', Rebecca knew what to do and went for the eggs. It was pretty that day, before the cold came on Easter morning.
